TEAM SPOTLIGHT TIME
Team ALLECA is comprised of hard working individuals that dedicate their time and expertise to shape and form Cadets that sign up for ALLECA. One of these team members is our Administrative Officer, Retired DPS Trooper, Lori Wait, which she has a long history of Law Enforcement experience. During ALLECA Class 2026, Lori stayed on top of the daily admin duties and well into the late night hours, keeping our records, finances, laundry, COSTCO runs, dinner schedules and any emergency situation that developed. But one of Lori's unique trats involves paying attention to detail and communication. Below is an email from a parent of one of the cadets that just graduated, expressing their gratitude for Lori's communications that went out to all parents during Class 2026:

Hi Lori!
Thank you so much for your continuous communication & support throughout. I hope you know how important you are.

Like many other families, we were unsure, scared and nervous, but still took that first step. I don’t have any law enforcement or military background so your support helped ease my “overprotective mom” fears. The daily pictures/videos were extremely helpful. Thank you, thank you!

I also want to extend my gratitude to the many people involved with the program and the graduation ceremony yesterday. I can already see the positive impact ALLECA has had on Jackson. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see the entire video shown at the ceremony but what I did see was enlightening & reiterated the commitment required by everyone. I will never hear “twinkle, twinkle, little star” the same way. 😊
I couldn’t find this video posted in the group online. Is there any way I could get a copy? I would be extremely grateful.

This experience was not only rewarding for Jackson, it impacted us as a family. Thank you again!
-Michele Irwin

Lori Wait, you are greatly apricated by all ALLECA staff, THANK YOU!
