Forged in Christ, Corry PA

10/15/2026

We’re excited to welcome our new pastor! We’re thankful for his ministry to our church family and looking forward to the ways he’ll get to know and encourage our Forged students too.

We are pleased to officially welcome Pastor David R. Scott to First Baptist Church of Corry!

After a season of prayer and searching, we are grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness in leading us to David. He began his ministry with us earlier this month, and we look forward to seeing how God will work through his leadership and the continued ministry of our church.

We invite you to join us on Sunday, October 25, for a special installation service as we formally welcome Pastor David and commit to serving the Lord together in this next chapter of our church’s ministry.

A Dinner on the Grounds will follow the morning service, and all are welcome to join us!

🍂 We’ve had two great weekends at Bethany Camp!

Last weekend, Forged joined Bethany’s Fall Celebration Festival for an afternoon of activities, food, music, and time together. This weekend, some of our 6th–12th graders headed back for the SIX12 Fall Retreat.

We’re thankful for the beautiful weather, the fun memories, and the opportunity to spend time together outside of our regular Sunday routine. These weekends are always a good chance to build relationships, enjoy God’s creation, and be encouraged in our walk with Christ.

Thank you to Bethany Camp for hosting us so well, and to everyone who helped make both weekends possible!

🚲 All-Church Bike Ride – New Date!

Our All-Church Bike Ride has been rescheduled to Saturday, July 25 (9:00 AM–5:00 PM).

We know some of you received permission slips with the original July 11 date, so we wanted to let everyone know about the change. We decided to move the event to allow more of our church family to participate and to avoid conflicts with other events happening that weekend, including Balloons Over Corry.

We’ll be riding the trails at Drake Well Park, enjoying a picnic lunch together, and spending a great day outdoors. Parents and families are welcome to join us!

Updated permission slips will be available at Forged next Sunday. We hope you’ll make plans to join us on July 25! 🚴☀️
