WE'RE GOING TO THE MOON!!!! Well, kind of. Anyone that really knows me well, know that I have had a passion for astronomy/outer space since I was a kid. I have studied astronomy for so many years that I've lost track! Nonetheless, I thought this was kind of a cool thing! NASA is heading back to the moon in 2026 and is taking people's names along for the ride!

Four astronauts will fly around the Moon and back on Artemis II, the first crewed flight under NASA's Artemis campaign. NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, as well as CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen will be the first humans aboard the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket, Orion spacecraft, and supporting ground systems as the crew ventures into the harsh environment of space. This flight is another step toward crewed missions to the lunar surface and helping the agency prepare for future astronaut missions to Mars.

NASA is sending astronauts to explore the Moon for scientific discovery, economic benefits, and to build the foundation for the first crewed missions to Mars. Artemis II will test NASA's deep space capabilities, as humans fly on the SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft for the first time. The approximately 10-day mission will launch from Launch Complex 39 at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida no later than April 2026.

The crew will perform initial checkouts of Orion’s systems and manually test the spacecraft’s handling near Earth over the first two days of the mission, before heading toward the Moon.

Orion's service module will provide the push needed to break free from Earth orbit and set course for the Moon. This translunar injection burn will send astronauts on a four-day outbound journey around the far side of the Moon in a figure eight pattern extending more than 230,000 miles from Earth. At maximum distance, the crew will fly approximately 4,600 miles beyond the Moon, evaluating spacecraft systems along the way. Several payloads will fly aboard Artemis II to expand our knowledge of space radiation, human health and behavior, and space communications. What we learn will help us advance future exploration efforts.

Orion will undergo high-speed reentry through Earth's atmosphere before safely splashing down in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego, where a NASA and Department of Defense recovery team will retrieve the crew and spacecraft.

Submitted names will be included on an SD card that will fly inside Orion when the Artemis II mission launches in 2026! So, I signed us up to be a part of this mission back to the moon! They send you this cool little boarding pass thing that you can download/print out. It's totally free to sign up, so why not add your name or your teams name to the SD card and send yourself to the moon in a sense?

Hello there everyone! I know it has been a little while since I have posted here and I apologize. I have been a little busy and was also fighting a slight ear infection and kind of lost track of time. Just wanted to pop on and make sure we acknowledge those of you who have started following us and those of you that continue to follow us and support us. We have now surpassed 700 followers here and still cannot thank you all enough for your continued support and shout outs!

Since our investigation of the Dunkirk Lighthouse, things kind of slowed down a little bit for a couple weeks, but this past weekend Wrenna and Momma Paranormal took a trip to Rockville, IN for yet another Haunted Nights event! This time was the Haunted Indiana State Sanatorium for a 2-night investigation with Steve Brodt Haunted Nights and Ghost Generation ! They also were able to go to Billie Creek Village (the site of our first ever investigation), so Momma Paranormal was able to finally check it out. She says she absolutely loves it there and cannot wait to get back sometime. From what I hear, things were very active, so Wrenna still has footage to go through to see if anything was captured. This coming Saturday, they head back out for another event at Madison Seminary which will most likely end out our investigating season for the year as of right now.

Side note: I am going to be digging into a personal project which may or may not lead us into a potential brand-new location right here in our own backyard. I have been drawn to this building here in our town since I moved here for some reason and was never really sure what it used to be. I always assumed by looking at it that it may had been an old school, but recently I have discovered it was actually the old town hospital before the new one was constructed. So, I am going to be diving headfirst into researching the old facility, trying to find out if I can find who currently owns the property and trying to reach out to them about possibly investigating there. Then depending on how that turns out, we will see where it goes from there. It may take some time but should be an interesting venture none the less.

We will post some photos from ISS soon, so be sure to keep an eye out for those! Again, we really appreciate the continued support from our friends in the community! Thank you for getting us to 700+!

Another investigation in the books. We had a great time investigating the Dunkirk Lighthouse with T&K 4th Dimension Paranormal Friday night. We really didn't get too many photos this go around because after a 1-hour tour beforehand, we got antsy and jumped straight into the investigation. While it seemed like a fairly quiet night, there were a few small bumps in the night. We still have audio and video footage to go through to see if anything was captured. Either way, it was such a beautiful local location that we will be sure to return to (probably many times)! Special thanks to Tiffany and Kevin for joining us on this fun investigation. Look forward to doing more with you in the near future! Also, thank you to our very knowledgeable tour guide David, who gave us a very thorough history of the property and lighthouse!

THE DAY HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!! Tonight, we team up with T&K 4th Dimension Paranormal to investigate the Dunkirk Lighthouse! Both teams have been anxiously awaiting today and are ready to tackle this piece of Western New York history! From the War of 1812 and members of the Coast Guard being stationed at the lighthouse during WWII to many notable shipwrecks in the waters of Lake Erie off Dunkirk, the Dunkirk Lighthouse still serves as a beacon on the shores of Lake Erie today. Stay tuned to see what we might uncover as we investigate this historic location!

We are exactly 1 week away from our joint investigation with T&K 4th Dimension Paranormal at the Dunkirk Lighthouse! Next Friday, Sept 12th we will pair up with Tiffany and Kevin to investigate this historic lighthouse in Dunkirk, NY. The Dunkirk Lighthouse has been guiding ships along Lake Erie’s treacherous waters since 1827. The current structure, built in 1875, still stands proudly, its light visible for 27 miles across the lake. Over the years, it has seen war, storms, shipwrecks, and countless sailors pass through its watch. The grounds also house a museum filled with maritime and military history, making it a fascinating location even without the paranormal activity. But history isn’t the only thing lingering here. Visitors and investigators have reported:
* Shadow figures moving in the tower and keeper’s quarters
* Disembodied voices calling out from empty rooms
* Mysterious footsteps pacing along the spiral staircase
* The feeling of being watched, especially near the light tower’s top
Some believe the spirits of past lighthouse keepers and sailors still keep vigil over the lake, their duty never ending.
We can’t wait to see what evidence we uncover alongside T&K 4th Dimension Paranormal next Friday night!!!

Something that most of you don't know is that one of my other little hobbies outside of the paranormal is that I do online sim racing. I race virtual cars online for frustration (I would say for fun, but most of the time it's more frustrating than it is fun HAHA) on the iRacing platform. I haven't been racing much as of late because my PC keeps being finicky with iRacing and freezing up and crashing during races. One of my favorite classes to run is the GT3 class with the Chevy Corvette Z06 GT3.R. It is such a fun car to run on the road courses, and I finally decided it was time to combine my 2 passions in the paranormal and racing. So, here is a paint wrap I did for my Corvette Z06 introducing Sibling Paranormal to the world of iRacing! The Corvettes body paneling is difficult to work with, but it'll do! lol

I have never really been one to just randomly explore cemeteries (I just always thought it was weird to just randomly walk around cemeteries, idk why, don't judge me), but recently I found out that in our small-town cemetery, less than a mile from our house, lays to rest a former Major League Baseball player. So, being a baseball fan, I had to go pay him a visit.

Born in Valley Falls, KS in 1924, Fred Marsh was primarily a 3rd baseball who made his Major League debut in 1949 for the Cleveland Indians after being discharged from the NAVY in 1945 where he served during WWII. Originally drafted by the Chicago Cups, he was acquired by Cleveland before the 1947 season. He appeared in 1 game in 49' as a pinch runner. He did not play at all during the 1950 season and in 1951 he was traded to the St. Louis Browns. In 1952, Fred started the season with the Browns, but shortly after the start of the season, he was traded to the Washington Senators, who then traded him back to the Browns less than a month later. In 1953, Marsh was traded to the Chicago White Sox. After the 1954 season, Marsh was traded to the Baltimore Orioles where he would only play half of the 1955 season due to a broken elbow and a leg injury. After the 1956 season, Marsh would retire from Major League Baseball where he had a career batting average of .239 with 10 career home runs, 96 RBI's and had a stellar stolen base percentage with a 92.9% success rate. After his baseball career, Fred spent many years as a postal carrier. He passed away in 2006 at the age of 82.

I love the fact that the image from his 1955 Topps baseball card is on the headstone. Adds such a great touch, I think! I may have to purchase one of those cards just to have in my collection!
