We are VERY excited that the Corry Area School District has made the decision to continue the Corry High School Swim Team 🥳🏊♀️👏
This is great news for our kids, our families and competitive swimming in our community 😁
Now comes the next part — we need swimmers!
At the YMCA, we want to do everything we can to help build and strengthen competitive swimming and diving in Corry. That starts with giving kids the opportunity to get in the pool, learn the sport, be part of a team and hopefully continue swimming right through high school 💓
So we’re recruiting!
The YMCA of Corry Otters Swim Team is looking for swimmers ages 6–18, and we’re offering a FREE TRIAL September 14–24.
If your child enjoys swimming and has ever wondered what being part of a swim team is like, this is a great opportunity to give it a try. Meet the coaches, meet the team, get in the pool and see if competitive swimming might be their thing.
And for our older swimmers — Corry High School needs you too! We are excited to support the district as they recruit and rebuild participation in the high school program.
Keeping opportunities like competitive swimming available in a small community takes participation. We have the pool. We have the coaches. We have the programs.
Now let’s fill those lanes, Corry.
