The Corralitos Woman's Club is in search of a volunteer (perhaps a college student seeking credit in theater arts?) to help with their production of a play. We are seeking someone who has experience/knows how to be an Assistant Director. Responsibilities would be to follow on with the script during rehearsals, give actors lines or stage direction (if they forget) and take notes given by the director. Right now rehearsals are being held in Corralitos approximately once a week; that frequency would increase as we near our December 11-12 performance dates.
The CWC is a non-profit organization serving the local area for over 100 years; the proceeds from this event will go toward a local area non-profit, yet TBD.
The plays are a lot of fun and you will get experience working along a director who has had years of professional theater experience (all actors are amateurs and proud of it!)

We are thrilled to report that at Saturday’s annual convention of Loma Prieta District of General Federation of Women’s Clubs, our club received the following awards!

9 First Place Awards in the categories of Advocates for Children, Civic Engagement/Community Service, Education, Environment, PR/Communication, Arts & Culture, Membership, Fundraising, and Domestic Violence.
1 Second Place Award in Leadership
2 Third Place Awards in History and Health

The Corralitos Woman's Club offers college scholarships to high school students in an Pajaro Valley School with a minimum grade point average of 3.5; or to any resident of a 95076, 95019, or 95003 zip code. Applications are due March 15th. To apply, visit https://www.corralitoswomansclub.com/college-scholarship ; application instructions are on the form.

Every year a portion of the Corralitos Woman’s Club fundraising goes towards our scholarship awards. Any student planning on attending college may apply if they meet the eligibility requirements listed on the application. Further instructions and the deadline can be found on the application form.
