Once treatment concludes for individuals in recovery, the real work begins within the community. For many, the workplace is that community. This is why the principles and practices of Recovery Friendly Workplaces are so essential in addressing substance use and mental health challenges across our nation.

Amazing woman!

Amazing woman!

Kathryn was a mother, teacher, little league coach, and wife when she broke her tailbone in 2012 and was prescribed opiates. After becoming addicted and turning to he**in, she spent the next ten years in and out of rehab, jails, and MAT programs, losing her family, job, and home along the way. Despite periods of sobriety, she frequently relapsed, culminating in a severe infection that led to her arm being amputated.

After a long hospital stay, she decided to change her life, breaking her goals into smaller, achievable steps and entering an in-patient program with her youngest daughter. Now, with 27 months in recovery, Kathryn is grateful for each day and committed to maintaining her peace and integrity.

Stories like Kathryn's inspire and show the power of resilience. Thank you, Kathryn, for sharing your story. ❤

42% of adults in the U.S. know someone who died from a drug overdose. That’s over 100,000,000 people affected.

We’re on a mission to end the addiction crisis, but we can’t fix the overwhelming problems we face overnight. We have the power to change things – but true change is only possible if we work together.

100% of your donation funds our lifesaving work. Be the proof that generosity can change lives. https://bit.ly/3vRSL69
