For many years, I have had the privilege of treating families from all walks of life. Standing behind that chair, I’ve heard countless stories of parents and children feeling embarrassed, ashamed, or afraid to ask for help, and I’ve also met families who simply could not afford lice removal treatment.

Over the years, I provided many services at no cost because I knew these children and families needed support. Creating the Lice Project Foundation has always been a dream and a vision of mine to end the stigma surrounding head lice, educate our communities, and ensure that no family goes without help because of financial hardship.

This foundation is more than a nonprofit; it is a movement to restore confidence, provide education, and give families access to care with dignity and compassion. We believe no child should feel embarrassed, miss school, or suffer in silence because of head lice.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in this vision, supported our journey, and stood beside us. Together, we are making a difference, changing lives, and creating a lasting impact in our communities. We are here to help.

Welcome to The Lice Project Foundation a non profit organization judgment-free, family-centered education and lice removal center.

For families who do not qualify for Medicaid and truly cannot afford head lice treatment services, we are committed to providing assistance at absolutely no cost through our foundation program.

No child should ever feel embarrassed, ashamed, isolated, or suffer from low self-esteem because of head lice. Our mission is to provide education, support, resources, and treatment while breaking the stigma surrounding this common issue.

Through community outreach, school education, and compassionate care, we are here to ensure that every child feels confident, supported, and able to thrive. Together, we can end the stigma, increase awareness, and make a difference for families across South Texas.

Today is a milestone for our community. 💙

The doors of The Lice Project Foundation are officially open, and we are ready to begin serving families across South Texas. What started as a dream years ago has finally become a reality. Our mission is to provide education, resources, and free head lice treatment assistance to children and families in need while breaking the stigma surrounding head lice.

Applications are now open for qualifying families who need assistance. We are honored to be able to give back to the community that has supported us throughout this journey.
