We especially appreciate the members of Texas Campaign for the Environment who joined us to learn more about the communityโ€™s support for the Inner Harbor Desalination Project and to share their perspectives as well.

This was a great opportunity to hear from people on all sides of the discussion, including those who strongly support the Inner Harbor Project and others who have concerns regarding the projectโ€™s location and financing. Water restrictions are not just numbers on a chart. They have real impacts on real people throughout the Coastal Bend. These are the voices of employees from Water Street Oyster and Sushi Bar who share firsthand how ongoing water challenges will affect their restaurantโ€™s level of service, the lives of the people who work there, and their ability to continue serving both local residents and visitors to our community.
