: Walking for heart health and our community!

Some of our members and Philippine Nurses Association of Corpus Christi Texas members joined the 2026 Heart Walk to support the American Heart Association’s mission to promote heart health and CPR readiness.

A special shoutout to Mary Spicak for her 5th year as an Executive with Heart and her continued support of the cause, raising more than $3,250 for the American Heart Association. ❤️

Perfect weather for a Saturday well spent! 💙🌊

Our Annual Beach Cleanup at Dolphin Park brought together CB Fil-Am members, youth volunteers, local leaders, and neighbors for a morning of giving back and keeping North Beach clean and beautiful.

A big thank you to everyone who came out, lent a hand, and shared their time with us. We’re also grateful to the North Beach Community Association for partnering with us on this annual community effort, and to our generous food sponsors for helping keep our volunteers fueled throughout the morning. 🫶

It was wonderful to see so many people come together to care for a place we all enjoy and call part of our community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s cleanup a success. We look forward to continuing this tradition and keeping North Beach beautiful for years to come! ✨🌊

UPDATE: North Beach Cleanup Will Proceed

Our North Beach Cleanup is moving forward despite the weather forecast. CB Fil-Am officers will be present to lead the cleanup.

We encourage all participants to use their best judgment and prioritize their safety when deciding whether to attend.

Our Filipino-American community is coming together to support the family of our fellow kababayan, Charito Danao, who recently passed away after being hospitalized in the Bay Area.

Charito was a valued member of the community and worked as an Amenity Specialist at Cinnamon Shore. Her family is seeking support to help bring her home to the Philippines and cover other related expenses.
