Today, we were honored to recognize the West Oso ISD 2026 Teachers of the Year and celebrate the incredible impact they make in the lives of West Oso students every day.

Foundation representatives Lisa Noyola-Flores, Co-Chair, Brenda Woods, Vice President of Finance and Governance, and Board Member Pauline Teran presented a special gift of appreciation to Flor Elizondo of John F. Kennedy Elementary and Krystle Barboza of West Oso Junior High School. We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to Judith Perez of West Oso High School, who was unable to attend today's ceremony.

As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we are especially proud to honor these outstanding educators for their dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to student success.

Thank you for all you do to inspire, support, and empower our students each day.

Congratulations to the West Oso ISD Teachers of the Year! 🎉🍎

Yesterday, the West Oso Education Foundation joined in the homecoming festivities, and what a turnout it was! From the parade and tailgate to the Burning of the WO, you could feel the Oso Pride everywhere. ❤️🖤

Many of our board members are West Oso alumni, so giving back to the community that gave us so much means a lot to us. We love Oso, and we’re excited to keep supporting its teachers, students, and families!

Teachers, be on the lookout—grant applications will be opening soon! 📚✨
