Our school social workers help connect students and families to essential resources, ensuring that basic needs are met so every child can focus on learning and thriving.

Flour Bluff ISD Food Pantries are here to support students across our district through the Hornet Hive Resource Closet at the Junior High and Communities In Schools at the High School.

Donations of nonperishable items such as soups, vegetables, ravioli, tuna, chicken, fruit, ramen noodles, macaroni cups, oatmeal, breakfast bars, Goldfish, applesauce, chips, and cookies help ensure our students have what they need to thrive.

The Youth Programs of the Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation has partnered with West Oso Elementary to make our annual Trunk or Treat bigger and better this year! In addition to 40 + vendors passing out treats, students will also enjoy a 65 ft. Obstacle course, bouncy house, petting zoo, student performances and community resources! Hope to see you there!

The 2nd Annual A–Z Transition Fair is happening November 13, 2025, from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM at the Flour Bluff High School Teaching Theatre.

Parents & guardians will connect with professionals, explore resources, and discover services that support students with special needs from Pre-K through adulthood. Please see the flyer below for more information.
