When it comes to improving outcomes for students, no single organization can do it alone.
Recently, Education to Employment Partners convened our P-16 Community of Practice formerly P-16 Counsel, bringing together educators, school leaders, higher education representatives, workforce partners, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders from across the Coastal Bend.

These conversations focused on a simple but important question: How can we better connect young people with the resources, opportunities, and support systems they need to succeed?
Topics included career exploration, workforce readiness, postsecondary attainment, student support services, and strengthening the pathways that help students move successfully from education into meaningful careers.

The solutions to our region's challenges will come through collaboration, shared knowledge, and a commitment to investing in the next generation. We are grateful to every partner who continues to show up, share ideas, and work toward a stronger future for Coastal Bend students.
Together, we're creating more opportunities and more reasons for young people to believe in their future.

Huge Lemonade Day Coastal Bend news!

Last night, we had the honor of receiving a Lemonade Day Coastal Bend proclamation from the City of Ingleside on the Bay! 🍋

A huge thank you to Mayor Jo Ann Ehmann and the Ingleside on the Bay City Council for recognizing Lemonade Day Coastal Bend and supporting the young entrepreneurs in our community.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Cheniere Energy Inc., our City Sponsor for Ingleside and Ingleside on the Bay. Your investment in our youth helps provide valuable opportunities for young entrepreneurs to learn important life skills through hands-on business experience.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community partners who help empower local youth through entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and leadership development.

Here's a flashback to Decision Day 2026, where students celebrated the next step in their educational and career journeys.

The choices made after high school can open doors for decades to come. Whether pursuing a degree, industry certification, technical training, or an apprenticeship, every new skill creates opportunities for growth.

Students often ask what the "best" path is. The answer depends on their goals, interests, and circumstances. What matters most is continuing to learn, develop skills, and seek out opportunities that move them closer to the future they want to build.

We're proud of every student who participated in Decision Day and grateful to the educators, counselors, colleges, employers, and community partners who help make these opportunities possible.

The Coastal Bend's future is being built one student at a time and the future looks bright.

A handshake. A commitment. A new beginning.

Looking back at Decision Day 2026, students had the opportunity to connect with educators, community leaders, and workforce professionals who are helping shape the future of our region.
One of the most valuable things students can do before graduating is build relationships. Career opportunities often come from mentors, teachers, industry representatives, internships, and community connections that open doors to experiences and resources.

That's why events like Decision Day matter. They bring together the people and organizations committed to helping students navigate the transition from education to employment.
At E2E Partners, we believe no student should have to navigate that journey alone. Through partnerships across the Coastal Bend, we're helping create clearer pathways to college, training, certifications, and careers.

The future workforce of South Texas is already taking shape and we're excited to watch these students lead the way.

Throwing it back to Decision Day 2026, where students made their postsecondary plans official and took an important step toward their future.

Whether it's a university classroom, technical training program, apprenticeship, military service, or entering the workforce, every successful career starts with a decision to keep moving forward.
One of the biggest misconceptions students face is believing they have to have their entire future figured out before graduation. The reality is that most careers evolve over time. What matters most is choosing a direction, taking the next step, and remaining open to new opportunities along the way.

Education to Employment Partners works alongside schools, colleges, employers, and community organizations to help students connect their education to meaningful career opportunities right here in the Coastal Bend.
