🎮 Community Resource Spotlight: EDGE Esports!

This morning, Coastal Compass had the pleasure of EDGE Esports, Development, Growth, and Education Foundation stop by to share information about their program!

Located in Moore Plaza in Corpus Christi, EDGE is a nonprofit organization that has been serving our community for approximately three years.

EDGE combines gaming with opportunities for personal growth, teamwork, leadership, education, and future career exploration. Their program helps students explore interests in esports, technology, STEM, and college opportunities, including potential esports scholarships.

The program fee is $185, and scholarships are available to help make participation more accessible to families.

This is a great resource for students who enjoy gaming and want to build new skills, connect with others, and explore educational and career pathways!

Thank you, EDGE, for stopping by Coastal Compass and sharing more about the opportunities you provide to our community! 💙

Today we held our monthly Coffee Talk, welcoming 19 attendees for a morning of connection, conversation, and community resources!

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we were grateful to have several community partners join us to share information about their services and the resources available to individuals and families throughout our community.

A special thank you to the Breast Friends program through Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation, Amistad Health, South Texas Family Planning and many more who took time out of their day to participate and share their resources.

These gatherings are a great reminder of how important it is to come together, learn from one another, and build connections that help us better serve our community. When we share resources and work together, we can help more people find the support they need.

Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and continues to support Coastal Compass. We appreciate each of you and the difference we can make when we work together! 💗
