Behind every performance are countless hours of hard work, dedication, discipline, and heart. Today, I want to congratulate each and every one of them for their commitment and passion for dance.

I am incredibly proud of each dancer, their growth, their determination, and the beautiful energy they bring both on and off the stage. Thank you for representing our culture and traditions with such pride and for giving us a performance filled with talent and emotion.

June 14 | Ballet Folklórico Viva México

This Sunday marks the 28th Annual Mexico: Fiesta y Tradición show featuring local mariachis and two traveling folklórico groups. Presented by Ballet Folklórico Viva Mexico, special guests include folklórico groups from McAllen and Nuevo León, México, as well as a performance from homegrown Mariachi Aguila Imperial. The show starts at 5 p.m. inside the gorgeous Performing Arts Center on the TAMU-CC campus, and is entirely free to attend.
