We are a dog walking group that strives to create a safe and non-judgmental environment for dog owners to work on socializing their pets. We will hold regular, structured group walks and nature hikes in various locations in the Corpus Christi area. We urge participants to use our outings as an opportunity to encourage and reinforce the behaviors you want your dog to exhibit everyday in public. All

types of dogs are welcome, but for everyone's safety, we have a few rules that everyone must follow in order to walk with us:

*One dog per walker
*NO face-to-face greetings for the dogs
*Give every dog space
*All dogs must remain on-leash
*No retractable leashes
*Step to the side of the trail to respectfully allow other trail users to pass
*Please bring high value treats to work on training with your dog
*Bring p**p bags to clean up after your dog
*Bring water and bowl for your dog
*Dogs needing extra space may wear red bandannas

Walkers without dogs are also welcome and needed!

ATTENTION CORPUS CHRISTI DOG OWNERS! GROUP CLASSES STARTING IN MARCH!

We are currently accepting enrollments for Agility Foundations 1 beginning on Thursday, March 17th at 6:00pm.

Classes will meet weekly on Thursdays at 6pm for six consecutive weeks (weather permitting as this is an outdoor class).

Agility is a fun and exciting canine sport in which dogs navigate various obstacles at speed. It is great for both backyard exercise or a competitive outlet!

Current vaccinations required to attend. Puppies that are fully vaccinated are welcome. Puppies will not be doing any jumping, but they will still have plenty of other things to learn in this foundations course!

Please email [email protected] or call 361-424-2254 to enroll! Only 6 dogs will be enrolled in each class, so spots fill up fast!

Padre island national seashore just became even more dog friendly!!!

We now have new outdoor showers for the convenience of our visitors and their dogs!!

These showers are located at the Northeast end of the parking lot at Malaquite beach. They are FREE of charge and can be used by anyone in the park.

Please remember that as the temperatures increase, do not leave pets in the vehicle. Dogs can’t sweat to cool themselves the way humans can.

We do not have shade, so a car sitting in the sun, even with the windows cracked, can reach a temperature of 108 degrees inside when the temperature outside is 78.

These showers may be used to cool your dogs and are open 24 hours a day for your convenience!
