Foster Angels of South Texas We provide immediate assistance to children and youth in foster care in the 19 counties that make up Region 11 of South Texas.

Ensuring these children have their basic needs met as well as providing normalcy experiences. The primary requests we receive and fulfill are:

Clothing and personal care items
Household items (cribs, beds, mattresses, bedding) & rental assistance
Medical needs (contact lenses/glasses, medical equipment)
Adoption expenses
Food
Education (tuition, books, laptops, GED testing)
Recreation (birthday parties, summer camp, sports teams, cap & gown)
Transportation (bikes, car seats, driver’s ed, bus passes)

Not your everyday stroller 🩵 This $600 specialized stroller is helping a child in foster care enjoy everyday outings, and judging by the sweet note from his foster mom, it’s already making a difference! The little things aren’t always so little and we were so happy to fill this request!

💫Wednesday was a remarkable afternoon! We gathered for our Champions of Courage Luncheon to celebrate Jose, Jaelyn and Julius, three incredible young people who reminded us that foster care can be part of a young person’s story without defining what comes next.

✨Meet Audra, the newest member of the Foster Angels team!

She brings extensive experience in philanthropy and relationship building throughout South Texas, along with a genuine passion for work that makes a difference. In her new role, she'll help strengthen the partnerships and support that allow Foster Angels to continue showing up for children and young adults across our region.

When she's not connecting people to our mission, you can find her enjoying all the coastal life has to offer with her husband Tom and sweet dogs, Chuy, Henry, and Layla. Help us give her a warm welcome! 💙

Sometimes, it really is about the cleats. 💛 For his birthday, this young man had one thing on his wish list, a pair of bright yellow cleats for football and soccer season.

His CASA sent us these photos and said, “I don’t think I have ever seen him smile like that.”

This is what our Daily Requests program is all about. Making sure kids in foster care get to experience moments like this, too. That smile says it all!
