YAY! We are so happy to announce that our donations are in their way to Colombia! Thank you to the Colombian Air Force Fuerza Aérea Colombiana for making this Christmas campaign a dream come true! Thank you to our angel Esperanza Alvarez for helping us put everything together and the community in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Houston for all the donations collected!
Stay tune for upcoming photos of the delivery of the donations in the vulnerable areas in Colombia!

UPDATE: Todas las donaciones ya están en San Antonio, TX. Mañana se empacará todo para ser enviado a Colombia la próxima semana. Gracias a la comunidad de Corpus Christi, Houston y Austin por toda la ayuda.

All donations are in San Antonio, Texas. They’ll be sorted tomorrow and sent to Colombia next week. Thank you so much for all your help!

This is only episode one, but it will give you an insight to the crisis happening now. They need as much aid as can be provided right now!

Meet Alexa Hernandez Manzano our treasurer! Alexa is a Junior in the college of education at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Alexa is pursuing interdisciplinary studies with a bilingual emphasis, and a minor in Spanish.

“I joined Por Colombia because it was a place where I was surrounded by people who shared my culture. Even though I am Mexican, Por Colombia gives me a sense of home, and belonging. I think it is awesome what this organization does, by helping people in Colombia, because it makes a big difference. I also love being able to share with others about the Latin countries and Por Colombia gives us the opportunity to do so”
