but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
[16] because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy."

Godliness — Becoming More Like Jesus

Godliness is not acting religious.
It is living a life that reflects Jesus.
It's how we treat our families, how we handle pressure, how we respond to correction, and what we do when nobody is watching.
A person can be sober or call themselves a Christian and still be angry, dishonest, prideful, or selfish.
God wants more than an empty cup. He wants to fill that cup with His presence and character.
Sobriety & Christianity is not the finish line.
Becoming more like Christ is our lifelong journey.
Just for today I pray 🙏🏼
Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
