The Corpus Christi NMCRS Thrift Store will be open tomorrow from 9:30-1:00. We will be having a $15 bag sale on clothing (excluding uniforms and their accessories). Shoes, dishes and linens will be 50% off as well.

The NMCRS Thrift Store will be open tomorrow from 9:30-1:00. We will be having a $15 bag sale on clothing (excludes military uniforms and accessories). We will also be having a 50% of shoe sale.

Please consider signing up to volunteer in the thrift store. We very much need extra hands as we move into the PCS season as some of our volunteers will be leaving us, as well as lots of summer time vacations. We normally have a work day earlier in the week and then the store is open on Thursday’s. Any time you are able to give is greatly appreciated!

The NMCRS Thrift Store will be open this Thursday from 9:30-1:00. We will be having a $15 clothing bag sale (excludes uniforms and uniform accessories and specialty priced clothing which are hung on a separate rack for men and women and have price tags).

Please consider volunteering. We can use a lot more helping hands to keep the Thrift Store organized - especially with all the PCSing donations.

When dropping off donations please be sure that all items are clean, have all their parts and are in like new condition. This past week a lot of donations were left in the casita we cannot sell - like 20 year old stereo equipment, toys that are falling apart. Heavily stained clothing, etc. while we appreciate the desire to donate - please understand we can only take items that are look like they are almost brand new. We pass on items that do not meet our criteria as best as we can - but with limited helping hands this is hard to do - donations that do not meet any donation stores requirements - we have to haul to a dumpster - which is not an easy task. We would be so grateful if everyone could sort their donations and drop off according to who can take them. This would be a huge benefit for us - and allow us to get products on the shelf faster for everyone’s purchase. Thank you so much for your understanding.

All clothing (except specialty brand priced clothing - all hung on a marked rack)

Linens and bedding

Wall hangings.

We’re especially grateful for the incredible nurses in our Visiting Nurse Program, who provide guidance, education, and care to active duty and retired Sailors, Marines, and their families across a wide range of care and family needs. Their expertise and empathy make a lasting difference in the homes and communities they serve.
