It’s $2 Tuesday, and this week we are continuing to raise funds for Whitney and the other medical cats who call The Cattery home.
Almost three years ago, Whitney arrived covered in painful open sores on her neck and tail. The kind person caring for her as a stray had exhausted every option and believed euthanasia was the only way to end her suffering.
Thankfully, it wasn’t. After extensive diagnostics, we discovered Whitney was suffering from a severe flea allergy, and with treatment, she finally got the chance to heal.
Now Whitney is facing a new challenge.
Last week, she suddenly began dragging her back legs. She has been diagnosed with IVDD and will require 6–8 weeks of crate rest and ongoing medical care. We’re hopeful, but the road ahead is uncertain.
No donation is too small. Even $2 helps provide medical care for Whitney and other cats who need us when life takes an unexpected turn.
After you donate (or if you’ve already donated), comment “Whitney Strong” so she knows she has an entire team cheering her on.
