Remember Rocky? Well, he’s now going by Ace, and he’s doing wonderful in his forever home! 🥹💕 His family says he’s settling in nicely, and it looks like his curious little personality is already keeping him busy!
His adopters even sent us the CUTEST photo of Ace checking out his reptile sibling! 🦎🐱😂 Apparently, Ace has some very important investigating to do around his new home, and no family member is going unnoticed!

We love seeing our Cattery alumni enjoying their new lives and making new friends (even the scaly ones)! Happy forever, Ace! 🏡💙🐾

It’s $2 Tuesday and LOOK WHO’S BACK. 😑

Yes. Again. The AC repair truck has returned to The Cattery. At this point, we’re considering giving them their own parking space.

We have five AC units keeping the shelter comfortable, and with hundreds of cats living here throughout the year, those units WORK. Cat hair, litter dust, doors opening all day, Texas heat, they take a beating.

This week, one of our units needed a new fan plus additional maintenance, bringing our latest AC bill to $1,700. 🫠

So today’s $2 Tuesday is going toward keeping the cold air blowing and the kitties comfortable.

❄️Just $2 makes a difference.

Judging by our tiny supervisor’s face, management would like this invoice handled immediately. 😹

💕🐾 Meet Julianna! 🐾💕

Julianna and her siblings had a pretty unusual start to life, growing up among heavy machinery before a Good Samaritan stepped in and brought them to safety. Thankfully, this little family got the chance to leave that scary environment behind and grow up in foster care, where they could start learning what it means to feel safe. ❤️

Because of everything she’s been through, Julianna can be a little shy when meeting new people. And honestly, we can’t blame her! The world hasn’t always been the easiest place for this girl, so she likes to take her time getting comfortable.

But here’s the beautiful thing about Julianna: once she decides you’re someone she can trust, her curious and loving side starts to shine. 🥹💕 She’ll begin exploring, seeking out attention, and showing you the sweet personality that’s been waiting underneath that shy exterior.

And trust us, earning that trust and getting to see her come out of her shell is every bit as rewarding as you’d imagine. There’s something truly special about watching a shy kitty realize that you’re safe and that she can finally let her guard down.

Julianna deserves a home where she can continue growing in confidence, at her own pace, with someone who understands that the best friendships are sometimes the ones that take a little time. Could you be the person she’s been waiting for? 🏡💗

💕🐾 Meet Cher! 🐾💕

Cher came to our clinic with her momma, and the plan was for both of them to be routine TNRs. But while Mom wasn’t quite ready to give up the street life, little Cher had other plans. This girl was ready to leave that outdoor lifestyle behind and experience the finer things in life! 😂💗

And what exactly are the finer things, you ask? Why, wet food every day and head scratches from every single Cattery staff member, of course! Cher has quickly figured out that indoor life has some pretty amazing perks, and she’s happily taking full advantage of them. 🥰

This sweet girl has stolen plenty of hearts around here, and while we would all love to scoop her up and take her home ourselves, we know she deserves a world of her own. A cozy place to nap, a full belly, endless affection, and a family who will love her as much as we do.

Now it’s Cher’s turn to find her forever home. We’ve had the privilege of showing her just how wonderful life can be, but we think her very own family could make it even better. Could that family be yours? 🏡💕

🔥🥩 Meet Brisket! 🥩🔥

Brisket’s story started in a pretty unforgettable place—he and his brother were born in a BBQ pit! And let’s just say, this boy has been cooking up a little chaos ever since. 😂🐾

Brisket came to us from foster care when he was just a kitten, but apparently, he decided he wasn’t quite done hanging out with us yet. So he stuck around! And now, after growing up here, this rambunctious teenage boy is ready to find a family of his very own.

These days, Brisket spends his time doing what teenage boys do best: making friends, burning off energy, and engaging in some good old-fashioned roughhousing. You can usually find him rolling around on the floor and wrestling with his fellow teen boys like they’re starring in their own little WWE match. 🤼‍♂️🤣

But beneath all that teenage boy energy, Brisket has a softer side, too. He’s more than just a playful troublemaker—he’s a sweet boy who deserves a place to call home, with a family who will love him through all his goofy antics and cozy moments alike. ❤️

Brisket has been with us since kittenhood, and we think it’s about time his story moved on to the best chapter yet: a forever home!
