Greetings City of Corpus Christi SSN-705 crew members!! Exciting update!!

The Sub Vets Sea Turtle Base has executed a contract with Turner/Ramirez Architectural firm to move forward with the project "City of Corpus Christi SSN-705 Submarine Memorial, Inc." This is the first step of eventually placing the submarine sail in Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park.

It’s been a little while since our last update, and while progress has been slow, we’re moving forward and refining the details. The city is currently redesigning Sherrill Park, which will be the future home of the sail installation. We’ve received several renderings that offer a glimpse of how the sail will take shape, along with preliminary designs for the piers that will support it.
We’re excited to share more as things develop, and we’ll continue to keep you posted as new information becomes available.
