Hello, Flour Bluff families!
We're so glad you're here. This group was created by parents who are passionate about protecting our children through education, awareness, and community involvement. Our goal is to bring families together to share resources, ideas, and practical ways to teach children what a safe adult is and how to recognize unsafe situations both online and in person.
As this group is still in its beginning stages, we appreciate your patience as we continue to grow and develop. In the meantime, we welcome your ideas, suggestions, and input as we work together to create a safer community for our children.
A few things to keep in mind:
• This group is intended for support, education, and constructive discussion. We understand that child safety is an emotional topic and that parents are passionate advocates for their children. However, we will not tolerate personal attacks, bullying, hate speech, or negativity. Our goal is to foster a positive, respectful, and solution-focused environment.
• Some conversations may be uncomfortable, but they are necessary. Protecting children starts with education. Together, we can help equip parents with the tools and confidence to have age-appropriate conversations about personal safety, boundaries, online activity, grooming, and trusted adults.
• We encourage collaboration, kindness, and respect. Every family brings valuable experiences and perspectives that can help strengthen our community.
We look forward to watching this group grow and empowering our children with the knowledge and confidence they need to stay safe. Through education, awareness, and open communication, we can work together to prevent exploitation and create a safer future for all Flour Bluff children.
