The Free Store - Corpus Christi Collaboration and Advocation
Change for the Better

We welcome collaborations with other organizations.

We are a volunteer run and led, non-profit organization, that focuses on low barrier resource distribution to individuals experiencing extreme poverty and/or homelessness in Corpus Christi. Collaborations build stronger relationships between organizations, which in turn make our goals, more achievable. We also advocate on behalf of shoppers, to help break stereotypes and stigmas associated with poverty.

We will not be providing services this Saturday. Volunteers please meet us at Ruthie's (417 S. Upperbroadway) from 9-11 a.m. to help us sort through donations and prepare for our Father's Day Picnic. Thank you for your patience amd understanding.

🧰Replacing light bulbs
🧰Sanitizing and moving lockers
🧰Wiping down surfaces
🧰Knocking down cobwebs
🧰Cleaning the toilets and showers
🧰Sweeping
🧰Moving and assembling shelves.

We are excited to share more about our new space Ruthie's! Ruthie's will be a life changing space for those facing extreme poverty and houselessness in Corpus Christi. Your continued support truly makes a difference!

Thanks to the support of the community, we are able to expand into a larger space we are calling Ruthies. Securing our place was the first step, now we need handymen, cleaners and volunteers to help prep our new space.
