We had a great meeting this morning. We beat the the heat and covered many topics.

Our horse masters looked at 'being the judge' using the USDFs access to 'you be the judge' on Equestrian Hub.

Our Juniors got a mounted lesson from one of their senior peers and then helped to paint an old saddle and recap the saddle parts.

And our seniors learned the theory around riding the perfect circle, from one of our horse masters... so no excuses!

We're introducing teaching to our higher rated members in preparation for C ratings in 2027.

🐴🌟 Help Shape Sandy Creek Pony Club's 2027! 🌟🐴

As we look ahead to 2027, Sandy Creek Pony Club is excited to expand opportunities for our members and the local community—but we need your help! ❤️

🤝 We're looking for sponsors and donors who share our passion for equine education and youth development. Your support will help make riding, competition, and learning more accessible for everyone.

🎉 Our Goal: Make our Friday Fun Competitions FREE for all Pony Club members!

We're seeking sponsors to help cover:
🐎 Horse use
🏇 Facility use
🍔 Food or catering for participants and volunteers

These fun, educational competitions are held quarterly (4 times a year) and provide a fantastic opportunity for riders to learn, grow, and enjoy time with friends in a supportive environment.

📚 We're also expanding our educational calendar!
We're looking for experienced clinicians and guest speakers to provide high-quality learning opportunities for our members.

✅ To ensure the best experience for our youth, all adult clinicians must meet Pony Club standards and safeguarding requirements. We are selective in choosing instructors who align with our values of education, sportsmanship, and horsemanship.

💙 Whether you're a local business, equestrian professional, or someone who simply believes in investing in the next generation of horsemen and horsewomen, we'd love to hear from you!

📩 Send us a message if you'd like to sponsor an event, donate, or become involved. Together, we can make 2027 our best year yet! 🐎✨

🎉🐴 What an incredible weekend at the USPC Festival! 🐴🎉

Our Sandy Creek Pony Club members had an amazing time learning from the fantastic workshops, making new friends, and putting their knowledge to the test in Quiz! 📚🧠

We are so proud of everyone's hard work and sportsmanship:

🥉 Our Senior Quiz Team earned an outstanding 3rd Place!
👏 Our Junior Scramble Team finished a fantastic 7th Place!

The results are wonderful, but the memories, friendships, and experiences made throughout the weekend are what truly make Pony Club so special. ❤️💙

A huge congratulations to all of our members for representing our club with enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication. We couldn't be prouder! 🎊

If you have photos please share them in the comments!

Until next year, USPC Festival! 🐎✨

🇺🇸🐴 We're Off to Kentucky! 🐴🇺🇸

This weekend, 5 of our members are headed to Kentucky for the USPC Festival! 🎉

They'll spend 4 incredible days enjoying education 📚, clinics 🏇, new friendships 🤝, and plenty of fun! 🎊

🌟 We are especially excited to have 3 members from Sandy Creek Pony Club representing our region at USPC Championships this year!

💙 Maisy qualified for Dressage, but unfortunately, due to doctor's orders, she is unable to bring a horse this year. She is still recovering from her back injury and must remain out of the saddle until she is fully healed. ❤️‍🩹 Instead, she'll proudly represent our region in the Junior Quiz Division! 📖🧠

💙 Ms. Susan and Ms. Amy both qualified for Quiz and will be representing our region in the Senior Division! 🎓 We hope they'll lead the way and inspire even more of our adult members to get involved and aim for Championships in the future! 🌟

🏆 Festival and National Championships are held every two years, and we've been looking forward to this event since 2024, when 2 of our members represented both our club and region with fantastic success! 💚

🎯 Qualifying for Championships is a huge achievement. Riders and competitors must earn their place by qualifying at a Regional Qualifying Rally and meeting the national age and rating requirements set by USPC.

👏 Please join us in wishing all of our Festival participants the very best of luck! We are so proud of each of you and can't wait to follow your journey this week! 💙💛🍀

This week we teamed up with KJ Equestrian to bring in some guest speakers for our members.

Thank you to Virgil Conde and lindsay from Bluebonnet feeds for providing some great information to our members.
