Stay vigilant folks! We don’t have protected lanes, so we must do our part, as a community (cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers), to prevent these incidents from occurring.

Sending love and healing to this young mans family 🙏🏻

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the progress of the proposed trail at Bill Witt Park!

At yesterday’s City Council meeting, the Parks Department was given the green light to apply for a grant. We’ll find out in June if we win!

Thanks to all of you, our chances are higher — the strong show of community support and letters of support truly matter.

We’re especially excited about this trail because it connects with existing trails, creating a safer, more continuous network for walking and biking. 🚲🌿

🚲 On the path to a new trail!

Next week on January 27, Corpus Christi City Council will meet to consider a resolution to pursue grant funding for a new trail in Bill Witt Park. (In plain English, before the Parks & Recs department can apply for a grant, they need to get approval from the City Council in the form of a resolution).

The proposed trail would create a new connection from Bill Witt Park to the Bear Creek Trail, improving access for walking, biking, and outdoor recreation.

📝 Want to help make this happen?
Letters of support do matter and can significantly increase the chances of securing the grant.

The city stated they have not got this grant since 2005. We hope they get it this year!

Merry Christmas to everyone in Corpus Christi! We are so lucky to have such great weather here! Why not go for a bike ride after that Christmas breakfast, lunch or dinner? The weather is great at 74 and really low wind speed at 2 mph, which is rare in Corpus Christi!

🚲 Help bring a new trail to Bill Witt Park! 🌳
