Coast Guard’s Boo Bash was an absolute hit! 🎃👻

We loved seeing everyone dressed up and enjoying a fun-filled evening of trunk-or-treating, spending time with our USO Canines, and enjoying delicious hot dogs and hamburgers. The cooler temperatures made it even better!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and make the evening so special. We love seeing our military community come together, make memories, and enjoy a little Halloween fun! 🧡⚓

Join us Tuesday, October 20th, for Coffee Connections, a gathering for our active-duty military spouses! This month, we’ll be writing heartfelt letters to local veterans in preparation for Veterans Day.

All supplies will be provided, so just bring yourself and enjoy coffee, snacks, and great company while helping us show our gratitude to the men and women who have served our great country.

We look forward to connecting with you and spreading a little appreciation to those who have given so much in service to our nation!

This Wednesday’s lunch set a new record for the most meals served in a single day all year, and WOW, y’all showed up! Seeing so many of you gathered around tables, sharing a meal, taking a break, studying, and connecting with one another reminded us why the USO is here.

To every service member and family who visited us today, thank you. Thank you for your service, for allowing us to be a small part of your day, and for reminding us why this mission matters so much.

Start your morning off on the right paw! 🐾

Join us at the USO this morning for a healthy and delicious parfait bar in the kitchen to help you fuel up and take on a great Thursday!

And, of course, our USO Canines will be hanging out in the Rec Room, ready to provide plenty of free kisses, cuddles, and tail wags.

Good food, great pups, and a little USO love, it’s the perfect way to start your day!

Check out this crew of new student pilots checking into NAS Corpus Christi!

We were so pumped to welcome such a large group of new aviators to the USO this morning! They stopped by to tour our center, learn more about our programs and events, and see how the USO can be their home away from home while they’re here in Corpus Christi.

And a BIG shoutout to our amazing volunteer, Hallie, for making extra Monday Motivational Snack Bags to make sure every one of these new aviators received a bag this morning!

We’re so glad you’re here, aviators! Welcome to NAS Corpus Christi and welcome to your USO!

This morning was a PACKED HOUSE at the USO! The Sea Cadets held their monthly meeting at the center, where Commanding Officer CAPT Paul Nickell and Command Master Chief MCPO Aaron Barnby spoke with the cadets. Everyone enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast prepared by our friends and volunteers from Travis Manion Foundation!

Our USO canines were also in the house, happily welcoming service members and families with plenty of tail wags and cuddles.

Veteran Marine Fighter Pilot and TMF Volunteer Natalie Walker led a Character Does Matter program for the Sea Cadets, and they were incredibly engaged from start to finish. Watching these young leaders participate, learn, and challenge themselves was such a great way to spend a Saturday morning. We have no doubt they have bright futures ahead!

And because it wouldn’t be a fall morning without a little pumpkin fun, the kids got to decorate pumpkin cookies and officially kick off the start of the season!

A huge thank you to all the families who chose to start their weekend with us at the USO. We loved having a full house and can’t wait to welcome you back next week! ❤️💙
