Honoring Lisa! Such a blessing to our community! We love you ❤️
🌟 Community Spotlight – Celebrating Lisa Saenz-Luevanos 🌟
Today we are proud to recognize and celebrate Lisa Saenz-Luevanos, who was honored in the March 15 edition of Tejano and Grupero News for Women’s History Month, recognized by Manuel Ayala.
For those of you who have not yet had the chance to meet Lisa, you are truly missing out on knowing one of the most genuine and caring people in our community. I have personally known Lisa for over 35 years, and during that time I have seen firsthand the incredible heart she has for children and for helping others.
Lisa has spent many years working with kids and supporting their well-being, always showing kindness, patience, and encouragement. She has a way of making people feel supported and cared for, and that is something truly special. Over the years, she has also built and maintained many lifelong friendships, a true reflection of the loyalty, love, and trust she brings into the lives of the people around her.
The article also highlights something that says so much about Lisa’s character. Before he passed, Mr. Joe Salem asked Lisa to continue the Joe Salem Thanksgiving Dinner tradition for those in need. Lisa honored that promise, and every year since then she has worked tirelessly to make sure the event continues to grow—helping more families in our community each year.
To so many of us, Lisa is more than a friend. She has been like a mother, a sister, or an aunt to those who needed one. Her compassion, generosity, and dedication to others make our community stronger.
Lisa, we celebrate you not just during Women’s History Month, but every day. We are incredibly proud to know you and grateful for everything you do for our kids and our community.
