An anonymous person has stepped forward to temporarily house this cat so that it does not have to enter our wellness building where we have a viral outbreak. I want to thank them and to the other people that are reaching out about adoption of this girl we will be following up with you. Because there are good people left in the world. She is safe.

If you know who this person is please contact us. You may remain anonymous. We go through our surrender forms every day we return every phone call. We have a waiting list not because we are mean or selfish, but because we are closed due to a viral outbreak in our wellness building. That’s where the cats go. An unvaccinated cat can die from the virus in that building. When people call, we listen to their stories if somebody is homeless, in a life and death situation, has a kitten that is dying, I say bring the cat in, and I start begging my fosters. When somebody fills out a form and says I don’t have enough time for my cat, I have a new job, I think my cat is bored because I’m at work all day,… And yes, we get this. We send them to other shelters and tell them to get on all of our waiting lists. Nobody is left with no resources when they come to us. Not only has she put this cats life at risk…. Now, a cat, who is on the urgent part of the waiting list will not get in as quickly. And that cat may be fighting for its life every hour.

Happy Birthday Benjamin. It’s your first birthday in heaven. The first birthday you were not with us. I know it was two decades we were blessed to have you but it wasn’t long enough. I love you forever.

Isn't she adorable! If you'd like to help us out we could REALLY use disposable gloves off our Amazon wishlist. We don't get many donations of gloves and we're constantly running out.
