Our girls played their hearts out this weekend. They went 1-1 in pool play, beating the tough and talented Rancho team Friday night. Although they came up short today in bracket play, they gave it their all and worked as a cohesive team. We are so proud of them! There’s nothing a little fro yo can’t fix. Love these gals!

Shout out to our ray of sunshine, Evie Rowntree, earning the team Spirit Award at the Poway Summer Heat Classic. Evie shows up everyday ready to work. She is a ball of energy and joy, cheering on her teammates nonstop, giving the best mid-inning pep talks, and coming in clutch at the plate right when we need her. Way to go Evie!

Our 12U All Star team went 2-1 this weekend at Peninsula’s Cool Breeze Tournament. Although it wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for, they earned the Number 1 seed going into bracket play and proved their grit and determination in a close game against East County Silver on Sunday. This amazing group of girls continues their All Star journey next weekend in Poway!

Congratulations to Jensen Cunningham, Game 1 Defensive Player of the Game! Jensen was dominant in the circle this weekend at Peninsula’s Cool Breeze Tournament. In Game 1, she had 4 strikeouts and allowed only 3 runs in the 10-3, 3 inning win against Mira Mesa. Way to go gal!
