Absolutely incredible week for Maleah Clark | Junior Golfer at the PURE Insurance Championship! Partnered with the legendary Ernie Els—who couldn’t have been more gracious—Maleah was spectacular. She opened up a 3 shot lead after a 63 at Pebble Beach on Friday and then a 70 at Spyglass Hill on Saturday to make the cut. Chasing a 3 shot lead on Sunday, she made some key birdies including a 50 foot putt on 16 to tie the lead! She capped it off in true Maleah style, with a chip in on 18 to finish her week T1. She ended up in 2nd place after a card-off but that didn’t wipe away the huge smile she had all week. Her attitude couldn’t have been any better. Everyone at First Tee - Inland Empire is so proud of her and huge thank you to First Tee PURE Insurance Championship and PURE Insurance for an amazing experience!

The best way to wrap up the summer is with an FTIE Play Day! Our 9 Hole Challenge last Sunday was a huge success despite the heat. These events are an excellent way for our participants to get some on-course time as well as gain some competitive experience. Huge thank you to our friends City of Moreno Valley for hosting at Cottonwood Golf Center. More Play Days to come!
