🐕 No matter how long the road is, Aloka is always right there at the front, leading the way with his tail held high! He takes his job of guarding the journey very seriously, scouting the path ahead to ensure everything is clear and peaceful for the venerable monks.

It is so heartwarming to see him march forward with such confidence and purpose. He isn't just a companion; he’s our brave little trailblazer, making sure every step of the walk is filled with safety and joy!

Well folks, it was another sad turnout for adoptions today. One small dog was lucky enough to be adopted, but that’s it. The faces above are just a small handful of available dogs that are still desperately searching for a family. has graciously offered to sponsor spay/neuter fees for some of our large dogs to help aide in their adoption. Please visit us to find your match and help save a life.

Happy May, everyone!

Join us on Tuesday, May 28th, from 12:30 to 3 for our next volunteer event! We will mainly work outdoors on cleaning public spaces, caging, and our nature trails. We would love to have you join!

With compassion for our furry companions, we recently visited the Escondido Campus of the San Diego Humane Society on April 27th. Witnessing both their struggles and moments of joy, we hope and pray for their happiness not just in this life, but in all their future lives.
May they cultivate Bodhicitta, constantly enlightening their minds.
