Fear may be loud, but it doesn’t have to control you.

When you say “yes” to God, doubt, anxiety, and fear may try to convince you to stop. But remember Paul’s words to Timothy:

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7

God never promised we wouldn’t face things that scare us. He promised to be with us through them. So when fear tells you to quit, remind yourself of what God has already given you: power, love, and a sound mind.

Don’t let fear keep you from becoming who God is calling you to be.

It’s never too late to make a difference in your children’s lives.

The moments that seem small today may become the memories your children carry for the rest of their lives. At 70, Pastor Ed heard his sons share the ways his presence, words, and example helped shape them into men, husbands, fathers, and men of God—and no trophy could compare to that reward.

Dads, your influence matters. Your presence matters. Your faithfulness matters. And no matter where you are in your journey, it’s never too late to begin building the legacy God has called you to leave.

Your children may not remember every lesson you taught them—but they’ll remember how you lived.

Some of the most powerful lessons aren’t taught in big moments. They happen around the dinner table, in the car, on the way to school, and in everyday conversations.

God calls us to pass down what He has taught us—not just to our children, but to the generations that follow. Even our weaknesses and struggles can become powerful lessons when we show our kids how God has used them to shape our lives.

Legacy isn’t built in a single moment. It’s built in the ordinary moments, one day at a time.

What are you passing down to the next generation?

What kind of legacy are your ordinary days building?

We often think the biggest moments are what our children will remember—the trophies, awards, scholarships, big wins, and special accomplishments.

But the truth is, a legacy is built in the ordinary days.

Deuteronomy 4:9 reminds us not to forget what God has done, but to teach it to our children and to their children after them.

Your kids are watching how you live out God's story—not just during the big moments, but in the everyday ones. The conversations around the table. The prayers before bed. The way you respond when life gets difficult. The way you love, forgive, encourage, and point them back to their Heavenly Father.

Those ordinary days may not feel extraordinary right now, but they are shaping the next generation.

Happy 4th of July, Beloved!!! â€ïžđŸ„łđŸ‡ș🇾

"Through faith... in their weakness were made strong." Hebrews 11:32,34

Have you ever needed courage to face odds that looked impossible, the kind that only comes from living by faith and not by what you can see?

A ragtag colonial army faced the most powerful military force on Earth. No navy. No real training. Farmers and tradesmen against British regulars. By every rational measure, they should have lost fast. But something had already been building in them before the first shot was fired.

Thirty years earlier, a preacher named George Whitefield stepped off a ship and started preaching outdoors to anyone who'd listen. No building. No backing. Thousands gathered in open fields, farmers, merchants, and slaves standing side by side. Even Benjamin Franklin, no easy convert, printed his sermons.

Colonists who'd never met, from different colonies and churches, began to see themselves as one people under one God. Faith took root before courage was ever needed.

Then a handful of men signed a Declaration knowing it could cost them everything. Fortunes, sons, homes, health. They never saw the whole outcome. They gave what they had and trusted God with the rest.

That's the gift too. It rarely gets to see its full harvest. Whitefield never lived to see 1776. His preaching reached an estimated ten million people, most long before anyone dreamed of independence. He was faithful with what God gave him. God used it to lay a foundation for a nation.

There are still people out there God has gifted you to reach, people you may never see the fruit from. Give it away anyway. That's how He shapes a family, a church, even a nation.

Today's Challenge: As we celebrate the 4th, pay attention to who God puts in front of you today. Be a light. Jesus will do the rest.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the few who believed for something better before they could see it. Give me that courage today. Let me plant what I may never harvest. Use me to make Jesus visible to someone watching. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Have you ever needed courage that only comes from living by faith? Don't quit today. Give the gift away.
