It’s that time of year again… Adopt-a-Pot Contest!

We have some BEAUTIFUL pots in the Main Street District this year, and we want to know which one is your favorite!

We do ask that you give our pots a little grace this year. 😅 They have been moved, shoved, bumped, and pushed up against buildings while construction has been going on. But even with all of that, they are still looking pretty darn good!

We encourage you to get out and walk around downtown to check them all out in person, but you don’t have to! Just scroll through the photos, find your favorite pot, and give that photo some love! The pot with the most likes will be our winner!

A big THANK YOU to all of our businesses who have adopted a pot and put time and love into making our downtown beautiful.

Now let’s see which pot gets bragging rights this year!

🚧 DON’T LET THE ORANGE BARRELS FOOL YOU! 🚧

Yes, the streetscape project is making its way down Main Street, and yes, some of our businesses may look a little harder to get to from the front right now… BUT THEY ARE STILL OPEN! 🙌❤️

Here’s your friendly reminder: Many of our downtown businesses have back entrances accessible from Benton Street! So, if the front door looks a little “under construction,” just head around back! 😉

The new sidewalks and streetscape are going to be BEAUTIFUL, and our downtown businesses are worth navigating around a few cones to visit! 😍

Main Street Corning is happy to announce that two additional Facade Grants have recently been awarded to help with repairs following the recent storms.

Both Subway and Lone Arranger experienced damage to their storefront windows and were able to receive assistance through our Facade Grant Program to help with those repairs.

These grants wouldn't be possible without the continued support of our local banking partners. A huge thank you to TS Bank, PCSB Bank, and Union State Bank for helping fund this program. Their commitment allows us to provide assistance to our downtown businesses when they need it most and helps keep our Main Street looking its best.

We appreciate your investment in our community and your continued support of Main Street Corning. Thank you for helping our downtown businesses recover and thrive!

You can now access the front door here at the Lauvstad building. They will just be doing some house cleaning the rest of the day. Next week, they will be starting on the sidewalk in front of Breadeaux and working their way up. Thank you, everyone, for all your patience through this streetscape project. The guys are doing a great job!
