It rained and rained and rained some more this Memorial Day weekend but Troop 273 didn’t allow this to dampen their sprits! We had 1 group from our Troop that canoed 25 miles and camped along the river. Our second group canoed 100 Miles over the weekend and got to place a commerative sign on the base!!

We attended Scout Challenge at Bert Adams this weekend. Camp closed early on Saturday because of the storms, so we took cover in Stone Mountain, Ga for the night. This morning we hiked to the top of the Moutain and enjoyed a Scouts own religious service provided by our Chaplain’s Aide!
