Love Lake Norman Love Lake Norman is a church in the Lake Norman area of metro Charlotte. Belong before you believe! We’re a church that exists to help you find and follow Jesus.

You’ll find worship experiences that hit home, programs for kids and youth that they love, and a community of friends who care about you. We meet at the Cain Center for the Arts at 10am on Sundays in Cornelius at 21348 Catawba Ave. Our office address is 18636 Starcreek Dr., Unit D, Cornelius.

On Sunday we prayed over our Love Kids pastor, ToniAnn-Ann Pfeiffer as she began her 2-month sabbatical. Our church prioritizes spiritual health for its leaders, and gives a sabbatical to each pastor after 7 years on staff.

Join us in praying for rest and renewal for Toni-Ann as she takes this time.

Meanwhile - our Love Kids team will not miss a beat! Our leaders are trained and ready to teach your kids about Jesus in a safe and fun atmosphere each Sunday.

During our Be A Builder series, we’ve interviewed some of our amazing volunteers about what they do and why they do it.

This past Sunday we talked with Brenda Kraetz. Brenda serves in many ministries at Love LKN, but she also leads one of our women’s small groups (we call them “Crews”).

This is what Brenda had to say about her experience:

“God created us to be in relationships with Him, as well as each other. We were not meant to live this life alone. And fellowship with other sisters in Christ, doing life together, praying with and for each other...not much beats it.”

During our Be A Builder series, we’ve interviewed some of our amazing volunteers about what they do and why they do it.

This past Sunday we talked with Weston Statzer. Weston leads our Ops Team. Weston spoke of how he tried to give Philip Hamrick his demo tape (he didn’t) and somehow ended up stacking chairs instead 🤣. Now he ensures our spaces are perfect every Sunday to welcome every guest at Love LKN.

Here’s some encouragement Weston had for us regarding finding the right place to serve:
“Don’t overthink it - just jump in! If it’s not the right fit, that is OK you can find something else. Sometimes we wait to do things because its not the right time or perfect fit, and three months later we are still looking. I’d say just give it a shot, 9 times out of 10 it’s probably going to be perfect!”

Thanks Weston! Phil will listen to that tape someday!

In our Be A Builder series, we’re interviewing people who are actively participating in what God is doing at Love Lake Norman.

Meet Declan Fitzgerald. Declan is one of our stage mangers and makes sure that everything behind the scenes is functioning properly. Whether it’s making sure the band members are going on stage at the right time, or simply speaking a word of encouragement to Jerel before he takes the stage, Declan plays a big role on Sundays, and always wears a smile.

Here’s what he has to say about serving:
“I love arriving each Sunday to meet with the amazing team and to allow each person, regardless of where they are in their faith journey, to get a glimpse of God in the smoothest, and most welcoming way possible.”

Declan is one of our Next Wave students, and we are so happy to have him serving in this important role.

Thank you, Declan for helping us create an environment where people can meet Jesus!

Throughout our Be a Builder series, we’ve been talking about what it looks like to move from simply attending to actively participating in what God is doing.

Rebecca Kehe serves in Love Kids in our K-2 classroom, where she’s been faithfully teaching our children about Jesus for 2 years.

She says: “I serve because I know that church works best when everyone is serving in some capacity. It is important to me and my family that our church has a vibrant children’s ministry, and it is important to the health of the church as a whole. I feel so fortunate to be able to serve in children’s ministry and the time I spend in my Love Kids classroom is my favorite hour of the week!”
