Dow-Lougee Squadron #115 is holding a raffle, designed for summer fun! The raffle consists of a 'Man, I Love Fireworks" meat package from Lane Farm, A Patriotic Fire ring from Welding and a S'more kit from Lougee Auxiliary Unit #115. Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. Only 350 tickets sold, Drawing will be held at next meeting following completion of sales. We were honored to take part in the Scouting America Ceremonies and Flag Retirement Ceremony on Flag Day, a truly exceptional event, especially considering the 250th anniversary of the birth of this great nation and the 80th anniversary of the Dow-Lougee Legion and Auxiliary. The event was enhanced by perfect weather, outstanding food, and a strong sense of community. We appreciate the efforts of Troop 61, Pack 53, Kathadin Area Council, Corinth Fire, Levant Fire, Crosby Welding, Darlings Ice Cream, Poland Springs, WABI, WVII, the Town of Corinth, ME State Representative Chad Perkins, and all of the Dow-Lougee Legion Family members who contributed to organizing and hosting this remarkable event. We hope that events like these will inspire people to get involved in community events and participate in Scouting America activities and volunteer with the American Legion Family.
