Do Not Cut Against the DNA of Creation.

We want to hold fast to the Holy Scripture, which teaches that male-female complementarity is true to nature.

"And the two became one. What God has joined together, let not man put asunder."

We are true to our bodies. Our reproductive anatomy matters in defining what it means to be male or female.

Obviously, there is the immutability of male and female complementarity based upon anatomy.

Just because a man or woman has surgery that will change his or her appearance, no surgery will change one's chromosomal makeup.

Any discussion about gender is a creational issue, not just a Christian issue. When we are painting a portrait of what Christians believe, we believe what we do because of created reality, because God authors Creation.

GENDER ISSUES

A correct understanding of gender must be based on reality. While there are many worldviews, there is only one objective reality. The Christian perspective aligns with this reality.

It is not necessary to be a Christian to recognize the fundamental characteristics of what it means to be male or female. Our understanding of gender is not limited to a Christian perspective; rather, it is rooted in the truth of reality itself.

We find ourselves unable to identify what a man or a woman is based on anything other than mere choice or stereotype. If we continue down this path for very long, it will run counter to the grain of creation. "You can't cut against the grain of creation very long with nature striking back."

Gender lssues continue to be hot topics in media and government. They are increasingly polarizings.

Faith based communities can no longer keep silent about this issue. Ending up on the wrong side of this issue can mean death to society.
