Alcorn County ARES We are an organization of amateur radio operators located in northeast Mississippi. Many of our members are volunteers with Skywarn and MEMA as well.

Please see our page for more information. Located in Alcorn County in northeast MS, we are an organization of amateur (ham) radio operators. We are dedicated to learning and preserving the hobby of amateur radio. Not only is ham radio a hobby, it has proven itself many times as a viable and reliable means of communications during disasters and other large scale events.
