Corinth Kiwanis Club Since 1925, the Corinth Kiwanis Club has been serving Corinth and Alcorn County in Mississippi.

The club’s major fundraiser, the Father Daughter Ball, is held each February.

Today, Program Chair Kiwanian Andy Clausel presented Davis Burns, an FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic who works at Turner Aviation here in Corinth. It’s amazing what is offered and being accomplished right here in our hometown!! Excellent program!!

Today was an exciting day for the Corinth Kiwanis club as Past Lt Governor Jimmy Rich installed the 2026-2027 Officers and Board of Directors. Immediate Past President Skylar Crayton, President Noah Carpenter, Vice President Greg Kiddy, Board Members: Ken Weeden, Rick Mayhan, Andy Clausel, not pictured Dixie Anderson and reappointed Tina McKee as Secretary/Treasurer.

We also recognized board members, Stephanie Hutson, Esreal Edwards, and not pictured Lisa Spencer, who completed their time of service.

We also welcomed new members Pastor Austin Hoyle and Jennifer Palmer.

A special recognition was made of Jimmy Caldwell for all of his years of service as Secretary/Treasurer. Jimmy continues to bring a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our club for which we are very grateful.

We are looking forward to an incredible upcoming year!!

Pastor Austin Hoyle was our program host this past Tuesday. He invited Captain Harvern Davis, Major Grayson Nickels, and Lieutenant Rosemary “Mia” Nickels from the Civil Air Patrol to be guest speakers. It was a very interesting and informative program.

Corinth Kiwanis Club was honored to present to Ms Cheryl Hurley on behalf of Havis’s Kids, a check in the amount of $3,500. This was proceeds from the annual Pancake Breakfast.

Natalie Thomas & Wesley Thomas daughter Livie was involved in an extremely serious car accident with her brother and grandfather and she is currently at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. She has suffered a stroke, and the axis of her brain has shifted. Please pray right now for a miracle, complete healing, and strength for Livie, Wesley, Natalie, and their entire family.

Wesley Thomas is part of our Roger’s Supermarket family, and we are asking our community to come together and lift his little girl up in prayer. 🙏💜

Last week, Program chair Dixie Anderson invited Hilary Whitehorn, Regional Development Senior Specialist for LeBonheur’s Tupelo office, as her program.

The Corinth Kiwanis Club presented her with a check for $20,000 from proceeds from the Father-Daughter Ball.

One of the red Jaycie’s Wagons, used for patient transportation, was purchased,donated, and marked with a plaque in appreciation for the generosity Corinth Kiwanis Club. Hilary presented a plaque to the club at the meeting.

Thank you to everyone who supported our event not only making memories for your own family but also making this great donation possible.
