The Pakistan Association of Memphis is the home to Pakistani Americans based in Memphis TN. PAM is a non-governmental, non-profit organization.

Pakistan Association of Memphis is a forum of Pakistani American community residing at Memphis to take care of their social & cultural issues and also to organize and celebrate national and cultural events to create harmony and fraternity among the communities . As an entity PAM has excelled and attained recognition of local administration and others by participating in various mutual projects an

d events . We should , gleefully , adore the sagacity and wisdom of our eminent founding members for establishing this august forum which has not only provided building blocks among the inhabitants but have contributed a great deal in addressing the social and cultural issues. An earnest effort has been made by PAM over a period of time to support & organize various social, cultural and charitable projects both in Pakistan and in our adopted homeland.I am very proud to name a few of our projects I.e Halal food pantry, establishment of water wells
in rural Pakistan and supporting education in Pakistan through TCF and DIL. We will ,Inshahallah, leave no stone unturned in mustering and providing requisite funds for these significantly strategic and important projects. .We need to have a re- look in allocation of funds to certain welfare projects undertaken in Pakistan and in our adopted homeland . Not withstanding the volume and effects of support being provided for welfare projects in Pakistan , we need to scrutinize local and domestic projects keeping their significance and role in preserving the identity of our community and the future of our progeny.

As you may know, devastating floods have once again displaced countless families in Pakistan, leaving them without shelter, food, and basic necessities. Our brothers and sisters are struggling to survive in these difficult times, and they are in urgent need of our support.

Dear Community Members
The current PAM board tenure is ending at the end of Aug 2025. We are seeking nominations and self-nominations for the next PAM board term (AUG 2025-Aug 2027)
* There will be 4 open positions
* Lifetime and current Annual PAM members (for at least the preceding one year) are eligible to serve on the Board.
* Nominations will be open until Aug 22nd 9pm.. Please see attached form for instructions
* Positions will be filled by lifetime and annual members voting in case of more nominations than available positions.

We are deeply saddened at the sudden demise of Dr. Nosheena Saleem, mother of Saim Kashmiri and mother in law of Maryam Husain in Lahore pakistan.
Saim's family is back from Pakistan. Condolences are planned at the MIC Cafe area on Friday, 15th August, from 5 pm to 7 pm IA.
Please make dua that Allah (SWT) grants her the highest place in Jannah and gives Sabr to the family. Ameen
