Had an amazing time today at the UofM GROWWTH Job Fair!

The 2Unique "Closet" Boutique, a product of 2Unique Community Salvation Foundation was excited to host our very first Pop-Up Workforce Boutique for uofm_growwth participants. We had the opportunity to provide workforce attire to job seekers and share information about our Workforce, Image & Grooming Services, designed to help individuals build confidence, make positive first impressions, and prepare for career success.

At 2Unique, we believe workforce development goes beyond training and employment—it also includes professional image, personal presentation, and self-confidence.

Thank you to the GROWWTH team for allowing us to be part of such an impactful event and for their continued commitment to helping participants achieve their career goals.

In honor of our youth, please consider helping us to build a better environment for them by donating to one of our programs:

1). Evolution School of The Arts After School Program that engages youth 6 to 15 through arts training in dance, vocal and instrumental music, drama, martial arts, traditional arts, life and social skills, FREE hot meals and team building.

2). Legacy Summer Arts Camp June 1- through July 25th: Team Building (Physical Team Based Sports - Kickball, Dodgeball, Volleyball, Softball, and more) Video Production, Drama, 3D Printing, Hot Daily Prepared Meals, Vocal Music, Music Production, Martial Arts, Traditional Art, Life Skills, and Photography).

3). Phase Mentoring and Parent Support Huddle Groups - all ages

Apprentice Success Testimonial: Candy Leavy

We are incredibly proud to highlight the success of one of our outstanding apprentices, Ms. Candy Leavy, a graduate of the 2Unique Workforce Development Specialist Culinary stackable credential pathway.

Ms. Leavy enrolled in our program in August 2025 and successfully completed it in January 2026, earning both her ServSafe Certification and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt—a powerful combination of culinary excellence and process improvement skills.

Throughout her journey, Candy demonstrated resilience, gratitude, and a strong commitment to growth. After completing the program, she relocated from Memphis, Tennessee to Minnesota with her children, determined to build a better future. During her transition, she secured an impressive nine job interviews, a testament to her preparation, confidence, and the strength of her training.

Today, Ms. Leavy is thriving professionally:

Working as a Temporary Full-Time Shift Lead at Roti: Fast-Casual Mediterranean Restaurant, earning $23/hour in addition to
stepping into a new opportunity as a Dietary Lead, earning $27/hour.

Candy shared her heartfelt appreciation for the 2Unique program, expressing that the training, credentials, and support she received played a critical role in her success. Her story is a powerful example of what happens when opportunity meets determination.

Not only is Ms. Leavy excelling in her career, but she is also creating stability and a brighter future for her children. Her journey reflects the true impact of workforce development—transforming lives, strengthening families, and building pathways to sustainable careers.

Proud of this young man who is enrolled in the 2Unique Workforce Development Specialists "Culinary "program under the instruction of Chef Tanocha Thedford Chef Noch held class in her store today.
Today Mr. Jeff made Tomato Basil soup, Roasted chicken, Grilled chicken and Voodoo Pasta which was an order for a client. I was told that he did an awesome job and that everything was good.
