We want to take a moment to share how registration and funding work for Mavis Island Project summer camps, and to reaffirm our commitment to access for all families in our community.

Our camps are open to all youth. Every child is welcome.

Thanks to generous support from the Native Village of Eyak and The Eyak Corporation, all NVE tribal members and Eyak Corporation shareholders are able to attend camp free of charge. This funding is specifically designated to support their members.

For all other families, we offer need-based scholarships to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participation. Our goal is simple: make sure every kid who wants to attend camp can be there.

You may notice a question about tribal affiliation on our registration form. This information is used only to determine eligibility for specific funding sources. It does not affect a child’s ability to attend camp.

We are proud to offer inclusive, accessible programming for Cordova youth and are grateful to the partners and families who make this possible 💛
