Looking forward to the Scouts showing their respect for Veterans and honoring their country with the flag retirement ceremony on Wednesday! They practiced up for this over several hours, so it should be awesome!
Thanks to the FOCUS Sunday School class for the invite and putting this whole thing together!!!

Cordell BSA will be holding an ongoing flag retirement ceremony beginning at 5:30 pm on the west lawn of the church on Veterans Day. Everyone is welcome to stop by or drive by to witness this meaningful ceremony.

That. Was. AWESOME!!!! Too many folks to thank, and shooting sports day was too fun to even describe. Wouldn't change a thing (other than the 30+mph winds). Special shout out to the Clinton Gun Range for letting our scouts use their very cool facility! SCOUTING IS SO MUCH FUN!

Enjoying this Saturday afternoon at the scouts shooting range, nothing more fun than teaching the proper shooting skills to the youth, and of course the parents enjoying shooting with the scouts, 1200 rounds in 3 hours I would say the rifles are broke in

The time is here to sign up for Scouting!✌️ On Thursday, September 3rd, starting at 6:00 pm, we will be having a Scout sign up event and invite ANYONE interested in Scouts to drop by the Cordell First United Methodist Church. We will be signing up kids for Cub Scouts (grades 1-5), young adults for Scouts BSA (grades 6-12) or even adults interested in volunteering in Scouting.
