Crisp County Horseshoe Club Promote Horseshoe Pitching in Crisp County Georgia and surrounding Counties It's Located at 501 E 24th Ave. Come out and Join us.

Crisp County Horseshoe Club is a Horseshoe pitching club that meets on Tuesday nights at 6:00 PM from April thru October at Turner Park in Cordele Georgia for League nights. Cordele Open 2 Tournament was held in Cordele at Turner Park on 9/12. We had 34 pitchers from all around the state to compete in six different classes. Cordele Club had six pitchers to pitch during the day as well as help to run the tournament.

30ft Class B was won by Crisp County pitcher Randy Morris who went undefeated for the day!! He was 4/0 and pitched 30% and won 1st place. 2nd place was won by Dan Sanders. Dan, also from Crisp Club had a 2.5/1.5 record which was a half game in front 3rd place.

Championship Men 40ft class was won by Matt Braswell and second place was taken by Crisp County pitcher, Ronnie Miller. Ronnie took home second place with a ringer percentage of 24.5% and a won/loss record of 3/2.

Championship Women had five women to compete and two Crisp County pitchers placed. The second place went to Loida Waters (2/2) and 8.13%. Third place went to Jean Bullington with a 2/2 record and ringer percentage of 23.13%

Crisp Horseshoe Club pitched on 9/9 at 6:00 for another night of league. Jean Bullington continues to lead for the Fall League. We will host a Georgia Horseshoe Tournament this weekend beginning at 9:30. Over 30 pitchers will pitch this weekend at the Turner Park Courts. Look forward to the pitching and fellowship!

Crisp County had two pitchers to place in Columbus this weekend. Ronnie Miller and Jean Bullington both got second place in their classes Second place in Class A went to Ronnie Miller. He had a 3/1 record and pitched 30.63%. Class C was a close match where Jeffery Green (Columbus) and Jean Bullington (Crisp) both had a 2.5/.05 win/loss record. Jeffery ended up with 1st after the tie breakers and Jean Bullington got second! Jean pitched 10.83% for the day!!

We have one week off to celebrate Labor Day weekend and our next GHPA tournament is 9/12/26 in Cordele.

The Crisp County Club went to Columbus Georgia on 8/15 to compete in the 2026 Inter-League Championship. Representing Crisp County Club was Marcus Waters, Ronnie Miller and Jean Bullington. Unfortunately they did not bring home the trophy but we are proud of our Crisp County pitchers. They finished in 5th place and had a great time of pitching and fellowship with other pitchers across the state. Congratulations to the Hull club who won with a 11/1 record.

Crisp County Horseshoe started this past Tuesday at 6:00 at Turner Park. We would love to have you join us this Tuesday. Dennis Lanning is currently leading and would love more competition! Everyone has a handicap based on their ringer percentage so it levels the playing field. Come join us for fun, fellowship and ringers!!
