It is time to start preparing for the Annual Church Profile (ACP). Packets are being mailed out to your churches. The ACP helps our association and the Georgia Baptist Mission Board better understand how God is working in and through our churches. Good morning!
This will be my last official post to our churches. I only have two more days in the field, and our new Administrative Assistant, Amy Leverett, will have full access to our page moving forward.

I want to say once again how grateful I am to have had the privilege of serving as your Associational Leader for the past 15 years and 10 months. This ministry has been a tremendous blessing to me. It has been a joy and privilege to come alongside our pastors and churches—to encourage you, provide resources and training, and help our churches become strong, healthy Kingdom churches that are making an impact for the Gospel.
Laura and I will always treasure our time with you and will carry you in our hearts. We give praise to the Lord for the ways we have seen Him work and move in the lives of individuals and throughout our churches.
We will continue to pray for you—that God will richly bless this association of churches and that each church will continue to seek the Lord, allowing Him to lead, strengthen, and equip you to reach more people with the Gospel.
We also pray that God will bring the next Associational Leader very soon. I know you have a great leadership team in place that will continue to keep things moving forward during this transition.

Laura and I look forward to being with you at the Annual Meeting in September. It will be a special opportunity to see you all again and share together. I hope each of you will make plans to be there!
Again, may God richly bless this association of churches, and may He be glorified in all that is said and done.

Thank you to all who participated in the prayer walk last Thursday! Your prayers will have an impact on many who were prayed for! Please continue to pray each day for our students and teachers and staff!!

We had a great Association Senior Adult event today at Penia Baptist Church today. We had a great lunch and wonderful fellowship! Thank you Steve Williams for a great program of patriotic music! We also enjoyed playing Bingo! A special word of thanks to Kathryn Harris and Penia Baptist church for hosting!

Executive Committee is Monday August 17th at Penia Baptist Church at 7:00 pm.
This committee consist of the Pastor from each church and an elected representative. It is important that you attend this meeting to get updates on the association. The Administrative Committee will also share information about the Search Committee for the Associational Mission Strategist which will be affirmed at this meeting.
