The summer of 1996, Beth McConn and Jill Dejewski hosted a Vacation Bible School (VBS) in the Maple Hill Estates mobile home park.

Mobile Hope exists to build relationships, hope, and a culture of achievement in mobile home communities through education, healthy activities, connection to resources, and faith development They started with a dozen kids looking to have some fun and 8 middle school students willing to reach out and love on the kids. The Christmas festivities continue!

Some students got to participate in the Shop with a Cop event with the Corcoran Police Department. Thank you for making this night so special for the kids!

Also, over 150 volunteers sorted and moved and stuffed, trudged through the snow with cheer, or unloaded and cleaned up for our Bags of Joy Christmas Parades at Blaine, Corcoran and Dayton sites! Thanks to the amazing church partners and volunteers, we were able to provide gifts to over 1,000 neighbors!

This is the most wonderful time of the year! Our staff have been receiving Bag of Joy donations from church partners and friends of Mobile Hope AND we get to celebrate with Christmas parties for Blaine, Corcoran and Dayton next week! We cant wait to gather the three communities and celebrate.

We love the Christmas season at Mobile Hope! As we gather Christmas Bags of Joy for residents at each of our communities, a wonderful story was shared with us we thought you would enjoy.
Each year, Mobile Hope and some of our church partners deliver Christmas Bags of Joy to each household of our communities. Brad and Donna decided to bring their 8 yr old grandson Teddie to fill a Christmas bag together. They shopped for the items, completed their personal note to a family, made their special treat and put it all in a bag to drop off. But they didn't stop there. They decided to then take their grandson in the car and drive through one of our communities. They shared how one of the families in that park would receive what they just put together and the joy it will bring. Then, they took some time to pray together for that community before heading home.
What a wonderful tradition for the season! A simple way to give, experience new communities, and pray for a group of neighbors.
Christmas is a season of giving and receiving - of Joy for a Savior that offers Hope to all families in all communities. May you and your family be on the lookout for great ways to experience that Joy this Christmas season.

For neighbors who let Mobile Hope into your lives, sharing your highs and lows and trusting us.

For volunteers who love to show up and make programs and events special and helpful for neighbors.

For donors and partners who provide the funds and contribute time and talents so that Mobile Hope can continue to walk alongside neighbors in our three communities.

It takes all of us! We are grateful! Thank you for whatever part you play in the Mobile Hope story. May you find joy and peace and hope rising up with whoever you gather with! Happy Thanksgiving!

Did you know that a gift of $100 a month provides the funds for ONE WHOLE HOUSEHOLD to participate in and receive all of Mobile Hope’s programs, events and services? There is something offered for everyone in a household; from help with homework, receiving help translating forms to receive assistance or services, applying for jobs, meeting neighbors over coffee, help during a crisis, and more!

Today is Give to the Max Day in MN and we’re so grateful for those who have already said yes to making a way for neighbors and for those who will join us! Will you walk with us with neighbors?

Being a neighbor comes down to sharing what you have. In two days, it is Give to the Max Day!

We invite you to become a neighbor to those in mobile home communities by joining our team of monthly supporters. A gift of $100 a month provides funding for all of Mobile Hope’s programs and services for one household!

You can enable one more family to have access to education, healthy activities, resource connections, and opportunities for faith development. You can walk with neighbors and build HOPE with us!
