55!!!! Over the past two years, Cross Point Healing and Recovery has witnessed something truly powerful—55 of our 68 clients have made the life-changing decision to be saved or rededicate their lives, followed by baptism.

And the transformation doesn’t stop there. We’ve celebrated so many meaningful milestones along the way: clients completing the program, stepping into independent living, purchasing their own vehicles, gaining and maintaining employment, and experiencing real decreases in depression and anxiety. Together, they’ve also built an incredible number of combined sobriety days—each one representing strength, perseverance, and hope.
But above all these victories, the greatest celebration is this: lives being renewed and hearts turning fully toward Jesus. That is the true foundation of every success story we see.

We were blessed to be able to attend the Pre-release Team meeting at Jackson County Detention Center yesterday! What an excellent program!! It is amazing to see how people and organizations are working together to lend a helping hand!
Bonus points for being able to witness and have prayer with some of the inmates! Extra bonus points for getting to hear some of their testimonies! 🙌🙌

Hello everyone,

My name is Joe, and I want to share my testimony about how Jesus has transformed my life. For years, I struggled with addiction. It was a dark place filled with pain, despair, and hopelessness. I felt trapped in a cycle that I couldn't break, and I often wondered if I would ever be free.

I never knew my earthly father, and that absence left a void in my life. But in my lowest moments, I encountered the love of Jesus. I came to realize that my true Dad is Jesus. He filled that void and embraced me with unconditional love. I remember feeling a pull towards faith, a glimmer of hope that whispered to my heart. I began to pray, seeking strength and guidance. I found a community of believers who supported me and showed me the love of Christ in ways I had never experienced before. Cross point has changed my life I now no that people truly care.

Through prayer and fellowship, I started to realize that I wasn't alone. Jesus had a plan for my life, and He was ready to help me break free from my addiction. I surrendered my struggles to Him, and slowly but surely, I began to experience change.

Today, I stand before you sober for the first time in a long time. It hasn't always been easy, but with Jesus by my side, I have found the strength to resist temptation and build a new life. I'm grateful for the grace that has been poured into my life, and I want to encourage anyone else who is struggling—there is hope, and Jesus can set you free.

Meet Michael!

“My name is Michael,

I have battled addiction for approximately 14 years I have been to prison twice and locked up countless of times I have spent most my adult life behind a fence or in a concrete block box , I was raised well In a loving home , I was huge in sports and played football very well and loved to boxx. but when I was young I battled with trying to impress people ,and fit in also I had social anxiety which in time led me hanging around the wrong crowd and as I got older I started searching for validation in women which led to bad relationships and self medicating and continued use of pills but once it got hard to find pills I was led to He**in and iv use and eventually anything and everything whatever I could get my hands on , and no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t escape the depression and anxiety nothing was helping. I was working for a job doing hvac as I always have since becoming an adult one day I went to work and this battle in my head kept going on , I was ready to end my life at that point but see I always had my mom trying to get me into treatment , and truly I wanted help but the thought of change scared me I was so use to the lifestyle but the Monday after this happened I loss my job for being high at work and that’s when my journey of recovery took off I spent 5 years or so up and down with recovery and using . I went to a multitude of different rehabs and sober livings but I would also gi back to it . Then this last time I was locked up God decided it was best he pick where I go . I was sent to cross point which has been a life saver it has changed me in ways I could of never guessed or thought of . Today I’m almost 3 years clean and sober , I’m currently in college majoring in human and social services, don’t get me wrong there’s days that will be great and there’s days that are not but long as I remain in my faith and what I can’t handle let Jesus handle I know I’ll be alright. CrossPoint was different than any place before , they truly love you for you, they are there to help and truly love to help , there’s so many things they did for me that I knew I couldn’t repay them for other then just remaining sober and striving to be better and doing better. And deep down I know that’s all they would say is to just keep doing good. There is no thank you big enough to explain the way I feel about the family at Crosspoint when you feel no one else will care I promise they will. I see them do it all the time. Thank you all for everything you have done and still do you all are not just friends You all are my hand picked family from God… I love you Jamie,John,Mike,Wes Angela and Stephanie and mama D. You all helped change me and gave me a chance to be a father a son and gave my children there father back you all could never understand the great you do for us all. Life changers and future builders . I love you all”
