Today we had the honor of joining the Williamsburg Senior Center in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD). 💜

Representatives from the TRACE Council, April Goodin with Home Helpers Home Care, Laura Creekmore with Williamsburg Nursing & Rehabilitation, and Cathy with Grace Health came together to help raise awareness about elder abuse and the importance of protecting and supporting older adults in our communities.

Thank you to the seniors who attended and helped make today's event a success.
Together, we can continue to educate, advocate, and ensure that every senior is treated with the dignity, respect, and care they deserve.

In recognition of Elder Abuse Awareness Week, the Knox County Senior Center is hosting a special event to support, inform, and celebrate our local seniors!

Join us to connect with community partners, enjoy activities, and share a delicious lunch.

🙌 Special Thanks: A huge thank you to the Tri-County Abuse Council for Elders and Bluegrass Care Navigators for providing the resources and activities for this event!

Time: Activities start at 11:00 AM | Congregate lunch for ages 60+ served from 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
