The CHS Red Cross Club is taking up donations of cash and food items to deliver to CRBH/Capers Children's Services to distribute Thanksgiving meal boxes to needy families in the Whitley, Laurel, Knox, Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson, and Rockcastle counties. We are at the CHS Football Region Semi-Final game tonight! 🥶

The Corbin High School Red Cross Club President Alex Freeman collected donations for Baptist Health Corbin. Due to the weather (and end of the trimester), the Donation Drive for the Hospital has been extended. We will be taking donations through Friday, March 12. You can drop off at the Corbin High School Office, or at WD Bryants in Corbin, or we will be set up at the Corbin High School Basketball home games this week - Monday 3/8, Tuesday 3/9, and Friday 3/12. All donations are appreciated!

The CHS Red Club had planned to restart events when school reopened. Since many students are still attending school virtually, we have not been able to resume activities yet. And the Red Cross has not been including youth under 18 years of age in events during the pandemic. But we have exciting news! We are planning some virtual events! Please stay tuned for more details, and thanks for your support!!

The Corbin High School Red Cross Club had planned to send some of our members to help volunteer for the PRIDE Cleanup at the Falls on the 28th of this month. However, due to the coronavirus, this event has been cancelled. The Red Cross Club will also postpone all meetings and planned events while CHS is closed due to Covid-19, and reevaluate planned events for the remainder of this school year once CHS classes resume on April 13th.
