Norah Update - 8/16/2026

As if I spoke it into existence, Norah is now tubie free. She violently vomited it up last night before taking her medications. After some serious conversations and even more serious bribery, Norah was able to keep down her medicine with the help of MIO drink flavoring. Honestly, they need to market it this way-“great for use in covering the horrendous taste of steroids and chemotherapy”. I’ll take my royalties in cash 😂

Please pray that Norah can continue to keep her medications down and we do not have to have another one placed ever again! She has been eating well and gaining weight appropriately so no need for tube feedings either. Hopefully this is just a giant leap in the right direction-even if we had to be pushed by losing the tubie.
